As a Faculty of Health and Wellbeing student, you will learn in a positive and supportive learning environment. Here at Bolton, we adopt a personal approach to learning, by maintaining small class sizes and a friendly team of staff. Flexibility is a key element in both our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. We offer a range of part-time, full-time, undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development (CPD) courses, to suit our students who come from varying backgrounds.
Our programmes have been developed collaboratively with staff from professional backgrounds, local partner organisations, service users and carers. We aim to be responsive to the Health and Wellbeing industry, by responding to local needs, incorporating up to date policies and evidence-based practice to ensure that our students are given the best training possible. Research and academic activity within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing takes place within several centres such as:
- The Centre for Dental Sciences, the newest dental education department in England
- School of Nursing & Midwifery which focuses on various nursing pathways and also the allied health and medical professions
- The Health and Human Sciences Unit includes Early Years and Childhood Studies, Community Development and Youth, Health & Social Care and Social Work. The Social Work centre is a new addition to the Health and Human Sciences Unit.
- Clinical & Biomedical sciences which focuses on postgraduate continuing professional development modules, advanced clinical pathways and physician associates
- The Centre for Research for Health and Wellbeing, which focuses on research related to the health and wellbeing of groups and individuals
We ensure our teaching and research stays relevant and up to date by involving experts across our programmes who tell us what they want from graduates. This way you can develop as both a student and an employee, by understanding the needs of employers, patients and all service users within this profession. Whether you decide to embark on further studies or to become a dentist, nurse or a social worker, we have courses designed to suit you, across the broad and rewarding Health and Wellbeing sector. We are dedicated to growing talented individuals, who will make a difference to the future Health and Wellbeing workforce. At the 新加坡六合彩开奖直播, we are proud of the fact that we know our students by your name and not your student number.
