Study with an Off-Campus Partner
Jo is a Registered Adult Nurse and qualified in 2007. She has a Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) degree from the University of Manchester, and has since practiced as a registered nurse in critical care, acute hospital settings and the community. Jo went on to complete her Non-Medical Prescribing and then Community Specialist Practice Qualification at the 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 to become a District Nurse and obtain a Post Graduate Diploma, gaining recognition for outstanding achievement on the Programme and receiving the Queen鈥檚 Nursing Institute Philip Goodeve- Docker Memorial Prize.
Jo joined the University in 2021 and she has mainly taught on the Trainee Nursing Associate Programme, completing her preparation for education and teaching qualification whilst in this role. Jo currently works as a Lecturer in Nursing for the School of Nursing and Midwifery and is studying for her Master鈥檚 in Community Health Care Nursing.
Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms:
The use of simulation in pre-registration curriculum to develop professional identity in Trainee Nursing Associates.
Compassionate leadership in remote working.
