Kim is a registered nursing associate and an experienced and dedicated professional, facilitating teaching and learning for undergraduate trainee nursing associates in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at The 新加坡六合彩开奖直播.
Kim鈥檚 15 years of clinical experience has been developed within acute emergency, medical and surgical settings. Kim was involved in the successful integration of the nursing associate role in the local community where Kim worked as one of the first registered nursing associates in England in 2019 and was a finalist at the Student Nursing Times Awards for 鈥楴ursing Associate Trainee of the Year鈥.
Kim holds the Foundation Degree in Science for nursing associates and has completed a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree with The Open University.
Kim started here in 2019 as a lecturer on the Trainee Nursing Associate programme, and completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education, at The 新加坡六合彩开奖直播. This resulted in successful achievement of fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Kim has knowledge and experience of programme leadership during a secondment as a Senior Lecturer for Bradford鈥檚 Trainee Nursing Associate apprenticeship provision.
Kim is currently completing her research dissertation in peer coaching for her Master鈥檚 degree in Education with the aim of integrating an innovative, pedagogical approach into the classroom.
Teaching specialisms:
Kim facilitates teaching and learning across all modules on programme for the higher apprenticeship and direct entry pathway. Kim is the current curriculum lead for the leadership and evidence-based practice module to support the transition of trainee nursing associate to registered nursing associate.
