The Student Success Bursary may be awarded to Full-Time, UK or EU, undergraduate students, eligible for Home funding from Student Finance, who commence their course of study at 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 from September 2022. To be eligible for this award, students must be studying an eligible undergraduate full-time degree programme at the 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 Main Campus.

Amount

The amount of this award will vary from student to student, based upon pre-determined criteria set out below. However, eligible students could receive between 拢100 and 拢700 per academic year based on an assessment of an application submitted. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award.

Students eligibility for this award will be assessed based initially on household income. Students who fall into our priority groups will then be assessed for an additional enhanced award, our priority groups are:

鈥� Student Parents
鈥� Students with a declared Disability

In addition to the payments detailed above, students may be eligible to receive a further payment upon the completion of their academic year based on their academic achievement in each year of study. This is detailed below:

Awards are limited and budgets for 2022/23 are as follows:

September 2022 intake - 拢120,000

January 2023 intake - 拢25,000

May 2023 intake - 拢25,000

This bursary will be assessed and awarded strictly on a first come, first served basis, once the budget is exhausted, the fund will close.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for the bursary students must have demonstrated that they are:

鈥� A home (UK) student or EU student paying tuition fees to 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 in 2022/23 and who are eligible for and in receipt of either Home or EU Student Finance funding.
鈥� Studying a Full-Time undergraduate course which is delivered on campus at the 新加坡六合彩开奖直播.
鈥� Commencing on their course in any of the following months September 2022, January 2023 or April/May 2023.
鈥� Students commencing on a foundation year (HE3) may apply but if awarded the bursary will only be paid in HE4, HE5 or HE6 years of study.

鈥� You will be required to provide proof of being a carer and or parent, acceptable evidence would be confirmation you are in receipt of any of the following:
- Parents Learning Allowance
- Child Benefits
- Adult Dependents Grant
- Carers Allowance
鈥� Students will be expected to undertake and complete compulsory Blackbullion Budgeting modules.

Applying for the Bursary

Applications for this bursary should be made via Blackbullion .

Applications for this bursary will open for September Intake students on the 1st October 2022, and close on 31st October 2022.

Applications for this bursary will open for January Intake students on 1st February 2023, and close on 28th February 2023.

Applications for this bursary will open for April/May Intake students on 1st June 2023 and close on 30th June 2023.

Payment of the Bursary

The Household Income and Priority Group payments will be made as follows:

鈥� For September 2022 entrants 鈥� Payment made from January 2023
鈥� For January 2023 entrants 鈥� Payment made from May 2023
鈥� For May 2023 entrants 鈥� Payment made from October 2023

The Academic Achievement payments will be made at the end of each full academic year, in line with the confirmation of each students end of year results. These payments may be delayed if any exam board decisions delay your final module results from being made available i.e. you are deferred or referred on any modules or have any extensions awarded, on confirmation of 120 credits at HE4, HE5, or HE6.

Financial Support

- Financial health checks are available with the Student Funding Advisors to ensure that students are receiving the correct student funding.
- Budgeting advice and personal budget plans are available.

Additional Support, Advice and Guidance

- Confidential advice and support on a wide range of academic and pastoral issues from one of the university鈥檚 Student Liaison Officers.
- Support from one of the Student Advisors in Student Services.
- Support, advice and help in accessing other services in the university and the Students鈥� Union.

Bursary payments will be terminated if the student withdraws, transfers to another institution or fails their programme of study. Bursary payments will be suspended if a student interrupts or suspends their studies. Payments will not be made for repeat periods of study.

Bursaries will not be paid to students undertaking industrial or work experience on a full time 鈥渟andwich鈥� basis.

Students studying abroad will not be eligible to receive the Bursary.

The bursary is not payable to students whose tuition fees are sponsored by a third party for example an employer.
